In October of2005, the District distributed a draft Rule and accepted comments. During the first 3 months of 2006, the District completed a joint technical advisory process with Ramsey Washington Metro Watershed District (RWMWD) to refine the Rules and address concerns raised during the comment period for the original draft mles. Please find enclosed a revised draft Rule for your review. It is very similar to RWMWD draft mles that will have a conCUlTent comment period. The CRWD will accept comments on the draft Rule during a 45-day review period which will end July 27,2006. All comments must be received by the District by July 27, 2006 at 4:30pm. Comments can be mailed, or faxed to the numbers listed above. The District will be holding a public hearing to accept comments on the draft mles at the regularly scheduled board meeting ofJuly 19, 2006 at 6:00 pm. In addition to the draft mle, many guidance documents have been developed. Draft versions of these can be found on the District's website (www.capitolregionwd.org). CRWD and RWMWD will convene another meeting of the joint technical advisory committee on July 18, 2006 at 9:00 at the CRWD office to discuss the final draft mles and guidance documents. At any point during the review period District staffwill be available to discuss the rules with you. Please call Bob Fossum or myself if you have any questions.
