<br />Human Rights Commission Minutes <br />November 14, 1989 <br /> <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />Borden suggested the announcement regarding the Human <br />Rights Award be placed in the City Newsletter. <br /> <br />Borden reported he has been asked to make a presenta- <br />tion regarding human rights to the Roseville Rotary <br />Club. <br /> <br />4. Martin Luther Kino Tribute <br />McKenzie has indicated the date and space at Rosedale <br />are set for the Martin Luther King Tribute. She is <br />still trying to find a choir for the Tribute. <br /> <br />IV. <br /> <br />NEW <br />1 . <br /> <br />BUSINESS <br />King distributed a Human Rights Day Flier and directed <br />that copies of the flier be sent to all Commission <br />members. The Commission members should contact Mardy, <br />at 490-2206, if they plan to attend. <br /> <br />2. The Commissioners discussed expanding the size of the <br />Commission. King suggested three members be added to <br />the Commission. He will write a letter to the city <br />Council proposing the Commission membership be expanded <br />to thirteen. <br /> <br />V. Next Meeting <br />The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 1989, <br />at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />VI. Adjournment <br />The meeting was adjourned at 8:20 p.m. <br />
