<br />IlM-RC <br /> <br />The LEAGUE Of :MINNESOTA <br />HUlVlAN lUGHTS COMMISSIONS <br /> <br />Ms. Dorothy Hendricksen <br />Roseville Community Education <br />Adult High School <br />1910 County Road B <br />Roseville, MN 55113 <br /> <br />Dear Ms. Hendricksen: <br /> <br />Congratulations <br />Minnesota Human <br />It will be our <br />fu"'1nual lvieeting <br />Center. <br /> <br />on being selected to receive The League of <br />Rights Commission's "Special Recognition Award". <br />honor to present this award to you at our 20th <br />on September 14, 1991 at the Crystal Community <br /> <br />The annual meeting is an opportunity for local human rights <br />commissioners to meet and discuss common concerns and also an <br />opportunity for Minnesota citizens to get involved in the human <br />rights area. The League uses this time also to inform and educate <br />on human rights issues. <br /> <br />This year's annual meeting will address several issues <br />simultaneously; human rights as they relate to persons with <br />disabilities and minorities who also have a disability. Added to <br />this is the issue of law enforcement and the protected classes. <br /> <br />The format is to have a keynote address in the morning on persons <br />with disabilities and social policy with the participants and <br />panelists responding. In the afternoon, the keynote address will <br />speak to law enforcement and minorities with disabilities. <br /> <br />We look forward to your participation, if possible, in what we <br />think will be a rewarding and thought providing ex~erience.
