<br />HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION <br /> <br />The Tuesday, June 10, 1997 meeting of the Roseville Human Rights <br />Commission was not held because a quorum was not present. The following <br />members attended: Jill Bergquist, Jan Gordon, Thelma McKenzie, and Mike <br />Trainor. <br /> <br />The June 10 meeting was slated to be a goal setting session. It was agreed that <br />goals should be discussed when more Commission members were present. The <br />attending Commission members discussed the following: <br /> <br />1. Bias/Hate Crimes - No report <br /> <br />2. Cable TV - No report <br /> <br />3. Human Riqhts Excellence Award - No report <br /> <br />4. Grievance Update - No report <br /> <br />5. Other Business - The League of Minnesota Human Rights Commission is <br />preparing for its annual conference to be held September 27. Thelma <br />McKenzie gave the members an insight into the program for this year, <br />Human Riqhts in Business and Education. The League is looking for <br />participants for the Mayor's Panel and the education workshop. Thelma <br />was hoping for Roseville to be represented on both. <br /> <br />6. The next meeting is Tuesday, July 8,1997, at 7:00 p.m. in Roseville City <br />Hall. <br />
