Weeklong diversity celebration <br /> <br />City Intake <br /> <br />At the April meeting Commissioners discussed whether the Commission should undertake assisting <br />the Minnesota Department of Human Rights with handling Intakes. Commissioners said they <br />needed additional information. Steve Smith agreed to check with Lucy Johnson-Gaines at DHR to <br />see what is involved to allow Roseville to handle Human Rights Intakes. Steve left the meeting <br />early, so the Commission tabled this item until next month. <br /> <br />Committee Reports <br /> <br />HRC Brochure - Martha Hardesty distributed the second draft of the brochure. Commissioners <br />requested that web addresses be added next to the phone numbers. Martha agreed to do additional <br />research on the No Fault Grievance Process. Martha and Larry Voeller agreed to research other <br />dispute resolution venues. <br /> <br />Improving and Increasing Education and Outreach - Karen Vnuk reported that she checked on <br />the prices to print posters and calendars. However, since this is not one of the top goals for 2003 <br />the Commission will not pursue this project. <br />
