<br />General, Clergy, Insurance Companies, MN Families & Children, <br />Schools, Police and Staff <br /> <br />( <br /> <br />Meet with Roseville School District superintendent to discuss any opportunities <br />for us to partner with the schools. <br />Obtain information from City staff regarding new Hmong families and what we <br />can do to assist them <br /> <br />Karen Vnuk presented the following ideas regarding our relationship with EIA: <br /> <br />The Commission check with RAS Diversity Coordinator Johanna Eager to <br />discuss a 'Diversity Day' and 'Equity Integration Assistance' <br />Invite the EIA to a meeting <br />Arrange to have the EIA web link added to our website <br />Johanna will forward the IDI Model, which is a measurement of cultural <br />awareness, to Karen Vnuk <br />RHRC may want to sponsor 'Diversity Awareness Sessions' to facilitate <br />communication between communities of color and to listen to concerns that <br />residents have regarding the City and the Police. <br /> <br />Commission will redo the 2005 New Teacher welcome packet. <br />Grant Research - We must find a new member to take this responsibility <br />Mark Chapin to add links as well as add the Bias/Hate Response guide to the site. <br />Sister City Program - Need assistance from City Staff regarding what we can do <br />to bridge communication gaps <br /> <br />( <br /> <br />Adjourn: 8:12 p.m. <br /> <br />( <br />
