<br />.S13VH:H3 <br /> <br />Human Rights Commission <br />Meeting Notes, November 9, 2004 <br /> <br />Present: Thelma McKenzie, Chair; Janet Delmore, Howard Wagner <br />Absent: Phillip Crump, Steve Smith, Karen Vnuk, Larry Voeller, <br />Staff: Carolyn Curti <br /> <br />A Quorum was not reached for the November 9 Human Rights Commission meeting. <br />Commissioners present met informally and discussed issues of interest. <br /> <br />A total of227 students from three schools submitted essays. Commissioners will read and <br />score them on the 30 point scale and submit the top 4 to 5 choices to Carolyn Curti by Friday, <br />December 10. <br /> <br />Commissioners discussed whether we should invite the Roseville Police to partner in a "It's <br />Time to Talk" program similar to what is being done in Chaska. <br /> <br />The U of M Human Rights Resource Center has developed a human rights curriculum.
