Introductions/Roll Call <br /> <br />Commission members present: Randy Neprash, Joel Fischer, Jim <br />DeBenedet, and Ernie Willenbring <br /> <br />Commission members absent: Doug Wilke has resigned <br /> <br />Staff present: Duane Schwartz, Public Works Director <br /> <br />Others present: None <br /> <br />3. Approval of September meeting minutes <br /> <br />Member Fischer moved to approve the minutes of September 26, 2006, of <br />the Public Works, Environment and Transportation Commission. Member <br />DeBenedet seconded. <br /> <br />Ayes: 4 <br />Nays: 0 <br />Motion carried <br /> <br />Member Willenbring asked if staff had contacted the Planning <br />Commission to set up a joint meeting. Duane Schwartz said he spoke with <br />the Community Development Director, and he suggested that as part of the <br />comprehensive plan process there would be opportunities to get together. <br /> <br />Member Willenbring asked Member Neprash ifhe had done research on <br />pesticide ordinances in other cities. Member Neprash said he hadn't yet <br />but would be prepared for the November meeting. Duane Schwartz said <br />staff had already checked with other communities on their experience with <br />their own pesticide ordinances, and that information would be presented at <br />the November meeting. <br /> <br />Page 1 of6 <br />
