Alternative A - 0 votes

Alternative B - 0 votes

Alternative C - 2 votes

Checking into resignaling - 11 votes

Member DeBenedet restated what he was hearing from residents that they
wouldn't have a problem ifMn/DOT kept the left turn open off of
Snelling. Residents agreed. He asked if residents thought any of the
alternatives presented were reasonable. Residents said no.

Craig Landkamec 2612 Wheeler
He wants the city to stand up to Mn/DOT and try to get them to back
down on closing the left turn off of Snelling.

Nate Goldenman, 1756 Oakcrest
He said that if they vote to do nothing the intersection will probably be
closed immediately, but if they choose an alternative, it would remain
open until that alternative could be put into place, which could be years.

Member Willenbring asked the commission where they wanted to go with
this. Member DeBenedet said he didn't want Snelling to be a freeway
through Roseville and that the city needs to work closer with Mn/DOT and
asked staff to give them analysis on that and maybe invite Mn/DOT to the
next meeting.

Member Fischer asked about the residents asking to stand up to Mn/DOT,
is that staff. Schwartz said staff and council would be involved.

Member Neprash said that standing up to Mn/DOT and not closing the left
turn was the strongest message he received from the residents. He thinks
Mn/DOT needs to re-evaluate the Snelling/Oakcrest intersection now that
it's been changed to a three-way intersection and the Snelling/County
Road C intersection has been restructured. He said Mn/DOT needs to
channel the Snelling/Oakcrest intersection to make it impossible to turn
left onto Snelling.

Member Willenbring asked staff to relay the information from this
meeting to Mn/DOT and ask them to send someone to the next
commission meeting.

Page 5 of6
