<br />RoseviIle Public Works, Environment and <br />Transportation Commission <br /> <br />Agenda Item <br /> <br />Date: January 23, 2007 <br /> <br />Item No: 9 <br /> <br />Item Description: 2006 Storm Water Report <br /> <br />One part of the City's Comprehensive Surface Water Management Plan, is for staff to provide a <br />brief annual report to summarize development changes, capital improvements, and other water <br />management-related issues that have occurred over the past year. In the past this has been <br />completed as a part of the SWPPP Annual Report. In the interest of providing a more in depth <br />discussion of the storm water issues that staff has worked through during the course of the year <br />we are providing this as a separate document. This will allow us to include more information <br />and enable us to better plan for future storm water needs. <br /> <br />The City's CSWMP recommends that we review the plan every 5 years to determine if updates <br />are needed. Also, as a part of the 2008 Comprehensive plan update, the City's CSWMP will <br />need to be amended to ensure that it meets all of the new requirements of the Metropolitan <br />Council. The recommendations from this annual report will be incorporated into that update. <br /> <br />Attached is a summary of storm water related changes that occurred throughout the City in 2006. <br />These changes include City projects as well as redevelopment and development projects. <br /> <br />Recommended Action: <br /> <br />Discussion of storm water report and next steps. <br />
