We were able to proactively inform. the public of the new biweekly collection schedule and the additional recyclable materials through the 2006 Guide to Recycling, which was mailed directly to 9,512 Roseville residents who participate in the curbside pragran1. Requests for Iuformation In response to questions and calls, we mailed specific recycling schedules and sorting information to over 290 Rosevillc residents. Direct Education Eureka lzecycling drivers educate residents at the curb using educational tags for specific problems. In 2006 drivers left approximately 9,540 educational tags in recycler's bins. When bins were not available, drivers reported any issues on a separate fornI, and in order to con1111unicate with these recyclers directly, we sent out 650 educational postcards and 30 personalized letters with detailed infonnation and instluctions.
