<br />then and in either of said events, as hereinabove set forth, the <br /> <br />McDONOUGHS shall deliver to the VILLAGE or its assigns, a warranty <br /> <br />deed conveying said premises. The VILLAGE then shall deliver to the <br /> <br />McDonoughs the sum of Two Hundred Seventy-Four Thousand Dollars <br /> <br />($274, 000 ~ 00) upon tender of the warranty deed by the McOONOUGHS. <br />6. It is further agreed that in the event the VILLAGE elects <br />to exercise this optionl that all real estate taxes due and payable for the <br />year 1966 and prior yea~ and all installments on unpaid assessments <br /> <br />due in 19 66 ,and prior years shall be paid by the McDONOUGHS and in the <br /> <br />event such taxes are not paid, the VILLAGE shall deduct an appropriate <br /> <br />amount from the aforesaid Two Hundred Seventy-Four Thousand Dollars <br /> <br />($274,000.00) . <br /> <br />7. In the event the VILLAGE elects to exercise its option <br /> <br />to purchase said property under the terms hefeofl possession of the <br /> <br />premises shall be given to the VILLAGE on the date the warranty deed <br /> <br /> <br />is tendered by the McDONOUGHS to the VILLAGE, or at a different time <br /> <br /> <br />if the parties hereto agree. <br /> <br /> <br />8.
