<br />Reso. #156 <br /> <br />NOTICE OF HEARING ON ASSESSMENTS FOR <br />SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT NO.1 <br /> <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village Council of the Village of <br />Rosevil1e, Minnesota, will meet at Alexander Ramsey High School in said <br />Village on Thursday, Oct. 3, 1957, at 2:30 o'clock P.M., to hear, con- <br />sider and pass upon a.ll written or oral objections, if any, to proposed <br />assessments in respect of Sanitary Sewer Improvement NO.1, upon the <br />properties heretofore determined to be assessable therefor, and upon <br />certain additional properties abutting on said improvement, as described <br />below. The proposed assessment roll is now on file and open to public <br />inspection by all persons interested, in the office of the Village Clerk. <br />The entire amount assessed against any parcel of land will be payable, <br />unless prepaid, in twenty equal consecutive annual installments, the first <br />of such installments to be payable with general taxes for the year 19~ , <br />collectible with such taxes during the year 1958. The first installment <br />will be payable with interest at the rate of five per cent per annum on <br />the entire assesBrrlent from the date of the resolution levying said assess- <br />ments to December 31, 1958, and each subsequent installment will be payable <br />with one year's interest at said rate on all unpaid installments, except <br />that no interest will be charged if the entire assessment as to any parcel <br />is paid at the office of the Village Treasurer within 30 days from the <br />date of adoption of the assessment roll. <br /> <br />The general nature of Sanitary Sewer Improvement No.1 is a sanitary <br />sewer system composed of trunks and laterals, lift stations and force <br />mains, plus a main interceptor sewer to connect said system from County <br />Road B and Dale Street southeasterly to the intersection of Rice and <br />Nebraska Streets within the City of St. Paul, to allow connection to the <br />St. Paul sewersystem; such system serving generally the area described <br />below. <br /> <br />The area proposed to be assessed in respect of Sanitary Sewer Improve- <br />ment No.1 will include all properties located within the following <br />boundary: <br /> <br />Commencing at the intersection of Rice Street and Minnesota Avenue; <br />thence westerly along center line of Minnesota Avenue approximately <br />333 feet to the intersection of Minnesota Avenue and Albermar1e Street; <br />thencenortherly along center line of Albermarle Street 200 feet; thence <br />westerly and parallel with center line of Minnesota Avenue 82~ feet; <br />thence northerly a distance of 200 feet; thence westerly and parallel <br />with the center line of Minnesota Avenue 1308 feet; thence southerly <br />approximately 400 feet to center line of Minnesota Avenue; thence west- <br />erly along center line of Minnesota Avenue approximately 152 feet to <br />the intersection of Minnesota Avenue and Western Avenue; thence southerly <br />along center line of Western Avenue 1072 feet; thence westerly and parallel <br />with center line of County Road "Bit 1107 feet; thence southerly approxi- <br />mately 250 feet to the intersection of County Road liB \I and Cohansey Blvd., <br />thence southerly along center line of Cohansey Blvd. 400 feet; thence <br />westerly and parallel with center line of County Road "B" 1030 feet; <br />thence northerly 200 feet; thence westerly and parallel with center line <br />of County Road "B" 300 feet; thence northerly 400 feet; thence westerly <br />and parallel with center line of County Road "B" 1,100 feet; thence <br />northerly approximately 1,000 feet to the center line of State Trunk <br />Highway No. 36 as it now exists; thence westerly along the center line <br />of said Trunk Highway No. 36 approximately 9,600 feet to the intersection <br />of said Trunk Highway No. 36 and State Trunk Highway No. 51 (Snelling <br />!venue); thence ~ol}tberly along the center line of said Trunk Highway No. 51 <br />(Snelling Avenue) b5tl feet; thence westerly 1,380 feet; thence southerly <br />
