EXTRACT OF MINUfES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD JULY 25, 1966 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Village Council of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the Village Hall in said Village on the 25th day of July, 1966, at 7:30 P.M. The following members were present: Mayor Cedarholm, Trustees Curley, Goodrich, Grauel and Shields and the following members were absent: None Member Shields introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 1577 RESOLUTION AWARDING BID ON PROJECT NO. 65-35 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for improvement of Lovell Avenue from the centerline of Dale Street to the centerline of St. Albans Street for installation of bituminous surfacing and concrete curb and gutter, bids were received and opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertise- ment: Bidder Amount T. A. Schifsky & Sons, Inc. Dunkley Surfacing Alexander Construction Co. pennig Construction Co. $ 8,152.50 8,466.75 8,625.40 11 ,225. 00 AND WHEREAS, it appears that T. A. Schifsky and Sons, Inc. of North St. Paul, Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of Roseville, Minnesota: 1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with T. A. Schifsky and Sons, Inc. of North St. Paul, Minnesota, in the name of the Village of Roseville for the improvement of Lovell Avenue from the centerline of Dale Street to the centerline of St. Albans Street by installation of bituminous surfacing and concrete curb and gutter according to the plans and specifications therefor approved by the Village Council and on file in the office of the Village Clerk.
