<br />Resolution No. ~ <br /> <br />Adopted May 17, 1949 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota has selected November 3, 1949, as the day during the <br /> <br /> <br />~Qnnesota Territorial Centennial to honor President Truman, and <br /> <br />~JHEREAS, the Honorable Mayor of the City of St. Paul, Minnesota's Capital <br /> <br />City, has issued a proclamation declaring November 3, 1949, as Truman day, <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, President Truman has been invited to come to St. Paul on November 3, <br /> <br /> <br />1949, to join in our Minnesota Territorial Centennial and to speak at the <br /> <br /> <br />St. Paul Municipal Auditorium: <br /> <br /> <br />Resolved, by the Village Council of theillage of Roseville that the <br /> <br />President be requested and urged to attend the Minnesota Territorial <br /> <br /> <br />Centennial on said November 3, 1949. <br /> <br /> <br />Resolved further, that a copy of t ,is Resolution be forwarded to President <br /> <br />Truman by the Village Clerk. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />Attest: <br /> <br />Clerk <br />
