<br />{-3 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village of Roseville is in need of acquiring and <br />purchasing land as a civic center site, and, <br /> <br />WH~REAS, the Village has approved the acquisition of land for <br />a civic center site at a cost of not exceeding $60,000.00, and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, sufficient funds to pay for the acquisition of such <br />land are not available at the present time, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Cow1cil of the Village of <br />Roseville, Minnesota: <br /> <br />(1) It is necessary and expedient to issue general obligatiJn <br />bonds of the Village in an aggregate amount not exceeding $60,000.00 <br />for the purpose of acquiring land as a civic center site. <br /> <br />(2) The following proposition shall be submitted by ballot to <br />the voters at the regular Village primary election to be held at <br />on the 5th day of November, 1957 from o'clock <br />A. M. to o'clock F. H.: "Shall the Village of Roseville borrow <br />money and issue general obligation bonds of the Village in an aggregate <br />amount not exceeding $60,000.00 for the purpose of acquiring land to be <br />used as a civic center site?" <br /> <br />The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to prepare <br />the necessary ballots and tally sheets, give 10 days' posted notice and <br />I weeks' published notice and arrange other details necessary for the <br />election. <br />(i t', Irf: ~ . <br />Adopted by the Village Council this ~~day of ~,1957. <br /> <br />Hayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~~~ <br /> <br />Clerk <br />
