<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD ON OCTOBER 17, 1966. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular <br />meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, was duly called and held at the Village Hall in <br />said Village on October 17, 1966, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: <br />Mayor Cedarholm, Trustees Shields, Curley and <br />Grauel. <br /> <br />and the following member was absent: Trustee Goodrich. <br /> <br />Member Curley introduced the following Resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1655 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND MANAGER TO <br />APPLY FOR CONVEYANCE OF CERTAIN TAX FORFEITED LANDS TO THE <br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, FOR A PUBLIC PURPOSE, PARK <br />AND RECREATION SITES. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the below described lands are tax forfeited <br />and therefore available to the Village for certain public <br />purposes, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council believes that said land is <br />desirous for Park and Recreation Sites, and therefore desires <br />to acquire said land for said public purposes, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL FOR <br />THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The Mayor and the Manager are hereby authorized to <br />submit an application under Minnesota Statutes ~282.01, Sub. 1, <br />for a conveyance to the Village of Roseville of the following <br />described lands for use as park and recreation sites: <br />
