EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the city council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was held in the city Hall in said City on Tuesday, March 9, 1993, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Cushman, Maschka, P. Johnson, and V. Johnson and the following were absent: Goedeke. Councilmember Cushman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 8898 RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENTS P-93-02 AND ST-93-07, NEIGHBORHOOD 58 . AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council of the City of Roseville adopted February 8, 1993, fixed a date for a public hearing on Projects P-93-02 and ST-93-07, Neighborhood 58; and WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice was given; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the city of Roseville, Minnesota, that in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, the Council held a public hearing on March 9, 1993, to consider the proposed construction of Improvements P-93-02 and ST-93-07, Neighborhood 58, consisting of the installation of bituminous paving, concrete curb and gutter, sanitary sewer service repair, drainage facilities, and necessary appurtenances on all that property abutting Shryer Avenue from Pascal Street to Hamline Avenue, Pascal Street from Shryer Avenue to Skillman Avenue, Ryan Avenue from Snelling Avenue to Hamline Avenue, Asbury Street from Roselawn Avenue to Skillman Avenue, Arona Street from Roselawn Avenue to Ryan Avenue, and Simpson Street from Roselawn Avenue to Ryan Avenue as described in the Notice of· Hearing at a cost presently estimated at $910,467.48 and substantially in accordance with the preliminary report as to the feasibility thereof which is now on file in the office of the City Manager; at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon, and having considered the views of all interested persons, the council does hereby determine and order that said improvement shall be constructed and financed. The City PUblic Works Director is designated as the Engineer for the project and is directed to prepare and submit to the Council the final plans and specifications for the improvement. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember P. Johnson and upon roll call vote being thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Cushman, Maschka, Johnson, and V. Johnson and the following voted against the same: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. taken P. None
