EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, HELD DECEMBER 19, 1966 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meetin~ of the Village Council of the Village of Rosevi1le, Ramsey County, Minnesota, was duly held in the Village Hall at 2701 North Lexington Avenue, Roseville, Minnesota, on the 19th day of December, 1966, at 7:30 p.m. TIle following members were present: Hayor Cedarholm, Trustees Curley, Grauel and Shields and the following were absent: Trustee Goodrich Member Curley introduced the followinv resolution and moved its adoption: I~SOLUTION NO. 1718 WHEREAS, the Ramsey County League of Hunicipalities studied the prob lem of inter-mtmicipal storm drainage and recommended the proposal of three bills to the 1967 Legislature which are: 1. A Bill for An act relating to Ramsey; providing for joint governmental cooperation relating to storm water drainage matters. 2. A Bill for An act relating to glV1n? the Water Resources Board power to mediate inter municipal disputes and further giving them the power to proceed with drainage improvements involving inter mlmicipal disputes; 3. A Bill for An act relating to municipal control over county and judicial ditches. WHEREAS, the Village of Roseville has experienced difficulty in the consummation or inter municipal drainage improvements under the existing .Joint Powers Act and other enabling measures provided by the Legislature; NOIV, THEREFORE, BE IT I~SOLVED by the Village Council of Roseville, Minnesota, that they hereby support passage of the above three bills by the 1967 Legislature and urges the support of the representatives and senators representing this district for this legislation.
