<br />EXTI~cr OF MINUTES OF tlEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />OF ROSEVILLE, MI!\I'NESOTA, HEll) FEBRUARY 13, 1967 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br />of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, was <br />duly called and held at the Village Hall in said Village on the <br />13th day of February, 1967, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Cedarholm, <br />Trustees Curley, Goodrich, Grauel and Shields <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: None <br /> <br />;\'Iember Graue 1 <br />and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following Resolution <br /> <br />RESOLlJl'ION NO. 1756 <br /> <br />A RESOLUrrON REGARDING DETERMINATION OF STATE AID <br />S1REET ALLOTMENT <br /> <br />W.HERFAS, the Minnesota State Aid Street Allotment is <br />allocated to mwlicipalities on the basis of the 1960 Decennial <br />Census; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the State legiSlature authorized a special census <br />for the Village of Roseville III 1965; and <br /> <br />~VHEREA.S, the population of the Village of Roseville <br />increased from 23,997 in 1960 to 29,581 in 1965; and <br /> <br />\\HEREAS, it is unjust and inequitable to base the State <br />Aid Street Allotment on the outdated 1960 Census; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a bill has been introduced in the Minnesota House <br />of Representatives, presently designated as tbuse File No. 377, <br />which bill would amend Minnesota Statute 162.09 Subdivision 4, <br />to pennit use of the 1965 special census in determining State Aid <br />Street Allotment. <br /> <br />NOW, TIIEREFORE, Be it resolved that the Village Council <br />of Roseville, Minnesota, goes on record in support of the above <br />referred to legislative bill. <br />
