Extract of Minutes of Meeting of Village Council Village of Roseville, Ramsey County, Minnesota Held March 13, 1967 A regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Ramsey County, Minnesota, was held at the Village Hall in said Village on March 13, 1967, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. The following members were present: Mayor Cedarholrn. Trustees Goodrich, Grauel and Shields and the following were absent: Trus tee Cur ley * * * * * * * * * Trustee Goodrich introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: Resolution No. 1775 RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE FINANCING OF THE ACQUISITION OF THE MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Ramsey County, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The electors of the Village, by the required majority at the special election held February 21, 1967, authorized the issuance of bonds of the Village in the amount of $290,000 for the purpose of providing funds for the acquisition of a municipal golf course, to be owned and operated by the Village as a public conveni- ence from which a revenue shall be derived. The Village has secured an option to purchase from the owners thereof certain real property now operated as a golf club by Roseville Golf Club, Inc., as described in that certain Option Agreement dated April 27, 1966, and in that certain Extension of Option Agreement dated January 23, 1967, now on file in the office of the Village Clerk. Under the terms of said agreements the option to purchase said property from the owners thereof extends to April 15, 1967, and the purchase price to be paid upon the exercise of said option is $274,000. 2. The Village hereby determines to exercise its right under said agree- ments to purchase said premises, and the Village Clerk is authorized and directed to certify and mail a copy of this resolution to Williamsburg Green Company as pro- vided in said agreements.
