EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD MARCH 20, 1967 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the Village Hall in said Village on March 20, 1967, at 7:30 p.m. The following members were present: Acting Mayor Shields, Councilmen Goodrich and Grauel Absent: Mayor Cedarho1m and Councilman Curley Member Goodrich introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption. RESOLUTION NO. 1785 A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TO ACQUIRE BY EMINENT DOMAIN THE FEE OF CERTAIN LANDS FOR PUBLIC PURPOSE AND THAT THE NECESSITY OF WHICH IS FOR ADMINISTRATIVE AND MAINTENANCE BUILDINGS, AND FURTHER PROVIDING FOR THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA AND THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE TO ENTER INTO A JOINT PROCEEDINGS. WHEREAS, the Village Council deems it necessary to acquire additional land in Ramsey County, Minnesota, outlined in red on the map attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof, to expand the site of the various administrative departments of the Village to the West and South of the present property owned by the Village for such purpose, and WHEREAS, the statutes of the State of Minnesota states that the Village has the power and authority to take and acquire said property by condemnation under the power of eminent domain; and WHEREAS, THE statutes of the State of Minnesota further provide that the Village of Roseville and County of Ramsey may acquire land jointly, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF Tlrn VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA AS FOLLOWS: The Village Council hereby deems it necessary and expedient that the Village acquire the fee of the property described as follows:
