Member Goodrich then introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. l854 RESOLUTION AWARDING SALE OF $900,000 GENERAL IMPROVEMENT BONDS, SERIES 3 BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minne- sota, that the bid of The First National Bank of Saint Paul , of st. Paul,. Minnesota , and associates therein named, to purchase $900,000 General Improvement Bonds, Series 3 of the Village in accord- ance with the notice of sale thereof heretofore duly published, is hereby found and determined to be the best bid received for said bonds and is hereby accepted, said bid being to purchase said bonds at a price of par and accrued interest plus a premium of $ '- 0 - , the bonds maturing in the years set forth below to bear in- terest at the rates per annum set forth opposite such maturity years, respectively: Maturi ty Years Interest Rate 1968 1976 4.00% 1977 1980 4.10% 1981 1983 4.20% 1984 1986 4.25% and all bonds to bear additional interest at the rate ofl.50% per annum from August 25 , 1967 to July 1, 1968, represented by a separate "B" coupon. The Mayor and Village Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the Village a contract for the sale of said bonds upon said terms. The Village Clerk shall retain the good faith check of the successful bidder pending the de- livery of said bonds and payment of the purchase price, and shall return the checks of the other bidders forthwith.
