<br />EXTRACT OP MINUTES OP MEETING <br />OP CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OP ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the city of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held at the city <br />Hall in said City on Monday, the twelfth day of April, 1993, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Maschka, Goedeke, P. Johnson, <br />Cushman, and V. Johnson <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Councilperson P. Johnson introduced and moved the adoption of the <br />following resolution: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8916 <br /> <br />PARKING PROHIBITION ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF GARDEN AVENUE <br />FROM HAMLINE AVENUE TO LEXINGTON AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Garden Avenue from Hamline Avenue to Lexington Avenue is a <br />Municipal State Aid Street (M.S.A. No. S.A.P. 160-239-01); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, such roadways must conform to established standards, including <br />the prohibition of parking on one side for thirty-four foot wide <br />designs that are striped for one driving lane in each direction; <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that parking is hereby prohibited on the <br />south side of Garden Avenue from Hamline Avenue to Lexington Avenue <br />(M.S.A. No. S.A.P. 160-239-01), identified as Roseville Project P-93-03. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Public Works Director is hereby <br />authorized and directed to forward two certified copies of this <br />resolution to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the <br />seconded by Councilman Cushman and <br />following voted in favor thereof: <br />Cushman, and V. Johnson <br /> <br />foregoing resolution was duly <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the <br />Maschka, Goedeke, P. Johnson, <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: None. <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
