EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD ON August 14, 1967 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held at the Village Hall in said village on August 14, 1967 at 7:30 o'clock P.M. The following members were present: Mayor Cedarholm Councilmen Shields, Grauel, Curley and Goodrich and the following were absent: None Councilman Grauel then introduced and moved the adoption of the following resolution: RESOLUTION NO. 1878 WHEREAS, the Village Council of Roseville, Minnesota, did petition Ramsey County for improvement of COWlty Ditch #2 from Jones Lake to Long Lake, all in the Village of New Brighton, Minnesota; WHEREAS, Ramsey County did by order of the Board of Commissioners dated January 23, 1967 initiate the improvement of County Ditch #2 as petitioned; AND WHEREAS, the Villages of New Brighton, St. Anthony, and Roseville entered into an agreement dated February 14, 1967, on financing of this improvement of County Ditch #2; AND WHEREAS, the proposed construction includes in the drainage area portions of I.H. 351\1, T .H. 36 and T .H. 8 in Roseville, which highways shall be benefitted from said con- struction; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, that the Village of Roseville requests participation by theState of Minnesota, Department of Highways, in the cost of this improvement and that the Village of Roseville and the State of Minnesota, Department of Highways, enter into an agreement whereby the State of Minnesota contribute to the cost of the improvement of County Ditch #2 in an amount commensurate with benefits received and as determined by standard policies of the Minnesota Department of Highways.
