<br />RES 0 L U T IO N <br /> <br />'1 <br />-'7 ' /I <br />/ D'v , <br /> <br />/17 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it appears that Lawrence F. Barrett is the owner of the <br />following described parcel of land situated in the Village of Roseville, <br />County of Ramsey: <br /> <br />Lot 3, Block 2, KAY-REEN HOMESITES, <br /> <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it also appears that by Resolution of the Village of Roseville <br />on October 3, 1957, said Lot 3, Block 2, KAY-REEN HOMESITES, was assessed <br />for benefits on account of installation of sewer in the sum of $511.23, <br />payable in twenty (20) years, on which assesS1ll.ent the amount of $466.39 <br />was paid by said Lawrence F. Barrett to the Village of Roseville on <br />November 13, 1957, for which amount the Village of Rosevil1e gaTe its <br />receipt, being receipt No. 4661 which was given to said Lawrence F. <br />Barrett, and that through inadvertence the said amount paid was credited <br />to the wrong property, namely, Lot 3, Block 2, KAY-REEN ADDITION, and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it appears that said assessment of $511.23 was erroneously <br />certified to the office of the County Auditor of Ramsey County, of which <br />the installment in the amount ot $57.30 is payable with the 1957 tax, and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it appears that the actual amount of the unpaid assessment is <br />the difference between $511.23 assessed and certified and the $466.39 <br />actually paid, or a balance of $44.84. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Village of Roseville determines <br />that the amount ot $466.39 was paid on November 13, 1957 on the tetal <br />assessment of $511.23, leaving a balance due and owing on the assessment <br />of $44.S4, and that said amount of $511.23 was erroneously certified as <br />the total amount unpaid to the County Auditor of Ramsey County, and that <br />the sum of $57.30, being payable with the 1957 tax, should be abated and <br />that the entire amount of the assessment certified should be abated except <br />the sum ot $44.84, and the County Auditor is hereby authorized and requested <br />to settle and accept the amount of $44.84 as full payment in balance of the <br />amount of said assessment. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Village Council of Roseville this ;2 7 day of May, 1958. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br />~&~,6,~~ ~ ./ <br />/J2y. c7Clerk <br />
