I F <br />CITY C CIL <br />OF CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, was held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, August 13, 2007, at 6:00 o'clock p.m. <br />The following members were present: Ihlan, Pust, Kough, Roe and Klausing and the following were <br />absent: <br />Council member Rae introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 10532 <br />F:ESOLUTION RELATING TO IMPROVEMENTS <br />P-02-16 COUNTY ROAD C RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT- PHASE I <br />DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING <br />PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL <br />WHEREAS, contracts have been let and costs have been determined for Improvement P-02-16 County <br />Road C Reconstruction Project- Phase I, the reconstruction of the street by the installation of concrete <br />paving, concrete curb and gutter, watermains, sanitary sewer, drainage, utilities, and necessary <br />appurtenances; and <br />WHEREAS, the City's share of the contract price for such improvement is $749,835.42, and the <br />expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to $160,592.42, so that <br />the total City cost share of the improvement will be $910,431.84. <br />NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. The portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the city is hereby declared to be <br />$721,884.76 and the portion of the cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is declared to <br />be $188,547.08 . <br />2. The City Manager, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper <br />amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of <br />land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a <br />copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection. <br />3. The City Manager shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the council thereof. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pust upon a vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Ihlan, Pust, Kough, Roe and Klausing and the <br />following voted against the same: none <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
