I TES <br />F CITY COUNCIL <br />OF CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, was held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, August 13, 2007, at 6:00 o`clock p.m. <br />The following members were present: Ihlan, Pust, Kough, Roe and Klausing and the following were <br />absent: <br />Councilmember Roe introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 10533 <br />FESOLUTION RELATING TO IMPROVEMENTS <br />P-05-06 S. OWASSO BOULEVARD RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT <br />DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING <br />PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL <br />WHEREAS, contracts have been let and costs have been determined for Improvement P-OS-06 S. <br />Owasso Boulevard Reconstruction Project, the reconstruction of the street by the installation of concrete <br />paving, concrete curb and gutter, watermains, sanitary sewer, drainage, utilities, and necessary <br />appurtenances; and <br />WHEREAS, the contract price for such improvement is $2,167,788.70, and the expenses incurred or to <br />be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to $355,403.08, so that the total cost of the <br />improvement will be $2,523,191.79. <br />NOW THEF:EFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. The portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the city is hereby declared to be <br />$2,323,168.59 and the portion of the cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is declared to <br />be $225,023.20 . <br />2. The City Manager, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper <br />amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of <br />land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a <br />copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection. <br />3. The City Manager shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the council thereof. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pust upon a vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Ihlan, Pust, Kough, Roe and Klausing and the <br />following voted against the same: none <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
