I S <br />F CITY C CIL <br />OF CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, was held in the City I-Iall in said City on Monday, August 13, 2007, at 6:00 o'clock p.m. <br />The following members were present: Ihlan, Pust, Kough, Roe and Klausing and the following were <br />absent: none <br />Councilmember Roe introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 10534 <br />RESOLUTION RELATING TO IMPROVEMENTS <br />P-06-02 ROSELAWN AVENUE RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT <br />DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING <br />PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL <br />WHEREAS, contracts have been let and costs have been determined for Improvement P-06-02 <br />Roselawn Avenue Reconstruction Project, the reconstruction of the street by the installation of concrete <br />paving, concrete curb and gutter, watermains, sanitary sewer, drainage, utilities, and necessary <br />appurtenances; and <br />WHEREAS, the City's share of the contract price for such improvement is $491,687.35 ,and the <br />expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to $57,254.96 , so that <br />the total City cost share of the improvement will. be $548,942.31 . <br />NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. The portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the city is hereby declared to be <br />$435,358.45 and the portion of the cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is declared to <br />be $56,328.90. <br />2. The City Manager, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper <br />amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of <br />land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a <br />copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection. <br />3. The City Manager shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the council thereof. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pust upon a vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Ihlan, Pust, Kough, Roe and Klausing and the <br />following voted against the same: none <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
