EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />OF CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />R:AIVISEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, was held in the City Hall. in said City on Monday, August 13, 2007 at 6:00 o'clock p.m. <br />The following members were present: Ihlan, Pust, Kough, Roe and Klausing and the following were <br />absent: none <br />Councilmember Roe introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 10536 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A LIMITED USE PERMIT <br />WITH THE STATE OF MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION <br />FOR THE COUNTY ROAD C STREETSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS IN THE RIGHT-OF- <br />TAY OF INTERSTATE 35W AT COUNTY ROAD C <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville, Minnesota, is a political subdivision, organized and existing <br />under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and, <br />AND WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Roseville has approved a plan to construct a <br />streetscape project along County Road C from Long Lake Road to Oxford Street; <br />AND WHEREAS, County Road C intersects Interstate 35W right-of--way; <br />AND WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota, Department of Transportation requires a Limited Use <br />Permit in order to construct, operate, and maintain the streetscape improvements including sidewalk <br />and landscaping; <br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, hereby <br />enters into a Limited Use Permit with the State of Minnesota Department of Transportation for the <br />following purposes: <br />To construct, operate, and maintain the streetscape improvements including sidewalk and <br />landscaping within the right- of- way of Interstate 3 5 W along County Road C. The City of <br />Roseville shall construct, operate, and maintain the streetscape improvements including <br />sidewalk and landscaping in accordance with the Limited Use Permit granted by the <br />Minnesota Department of Transportation. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council and the Mayor are <br />authorized to execute the Limited Use Permit and any amendments to the permit. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Pust upon a <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Ihlan, Pust, Kough, Roe and Klausing <br />and the following voted against the same: none <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
