Perimeter Drive
City:: Roseville
State: MN
Zip:: 55113
Home Phone Number::
Daytime Phone Number:: 651-636-3411
Email Address:: roshop@davannis.com
How would you prefer to be contacted?: Email
Please Share Your Comment, Question or Concern: August 13, 2007
To Whom It May Concern,
I am the General Manager of the Roseville Davanni's and my store recently failed an
alcohol compliance check on July 18th, 2007. Last summer a manager also failed a
compliance check, he has since been let go for this, along with other circumstances. In
light of this event my assistant Jenny incorporated an additional step in our training
which involved us sending the Roseville Police Department copies of a statement of
understanding signed by each employee of age to sell beer. These were signed by the
employee and the manager doing the training, and are kept on file. Because we only sell
3-2 beer, the chances of any individual selling more than one or two beers a month is
slim. I am currently tracking beer sales in an effort to convince Davanni's to quit
selling beer altogether. That being said, I want you to know that we do take the
situation seriously and have been taking steps to rectify the problem. Jenny Weinhandl
(Assistant Manager) has been handling any correspo ndence with the Police Department, but
at this time has been unable to reach her contact. We have changed our policy so that beer
sales are a "manager access only" function, and personally I would prefer to not sell it
at all.
Over ~,4 of our work force is between the ages of 18-21, and are unable to purchase alcohol;
it puts them in a difficult position when selling it.
Thank you,
Roxanne Zehrer
Additional Information:
Form submitted on: 8/13/2007 1:15:13 PM
1
