.City (of <br />+~~ <br />~~ <br />Minnesota, USA <br />Executive Session of the City Council <br />Minutes <br />Roseville City Hall Council Chambers <br />5:30 p.m. <br />Monday, October 8, 2007 <br />Present: Councilmembers Ihlan, Roe, Kough, Pust, and Klausing. Also <br />present: League of Minnesota Insurance Trust (LMCIT) Attorney John <br />Baker; City Attorney Scott Anderson; and, Acting City Manager and <br />Finance Director Chris Miller. <br />The Special Meeting convened at 5:30 p.m. in Open Session. <br />City Attorney Anderson advised that the Open Meeting law requires the <br />City, prior to closing a meeting, to state the grounds allowing closure and <br />to describe the subject to be discussed. City Attorney Anderson advised <br />that according to Minnesota Statute Section 13D.05 of the Open Meeting <br />Law, closure was permitted under the attorney/client privilege. City <br />Attorney Anderson described the subject to be discussed as a litigation <br />update from LMCIT City Attorney John Baker regarding Friends of Twin <br />Lakes v. City of Roseville - Northwestern College Environmental <br />Assessment Worksheet (EAW). <br />Upon motion and unanimous vote of the Council (5/0), the special <br />meeting was closed and the Council; LMCIT City Attorney John Baker; <br />City Attorney Scott Anderson; and Acting City Manager and Finance <br />Director Chris Miller convened in a Closed Executive Session at 5:35 <br />p.m. and received a litigation update from LMCIT City Attorney John <br />Baker regarding Friends of Twin Lakes v. City of Roseville - <br />Northwestern College Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW). The <br />meeting recessed at 6:05 p.m. <br />
