<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF l'iEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF ROSE VlL LE , HELD OCTOBER 16, 1967 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br />of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, <br />was held in the Village Hall at 2701 North Lexington Avenue, <br />on the 16th day of October, 1967, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Cedarholm, <br />Councilmen Curley, Grauel, Goodrich and Shields <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Member Shields introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption. <br /> <br />I~SOLUTION NO. 1943 <br /> <br />WlffiREAS, it is proposed to improve that section of Roseville <br />bounded by Lake O\iasso on the west, Sandy Hook Drive on the north, <br />South Owasso Boulevard on the east and County Road C-2 extended on <br />the south by installation of sanitary sewer, water and surfaced <br />street together with curb and gutter and to assess the benefited <br />property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant <br />to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 as amended; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a hearing '''as held on October 16, 1967, regarding such <br />an improvement as outlined in a feasibility report of the Public <br />Works Director dated August 14, 1967j <br /> <br />WHEREAS, both property owners appearing at the meeting felt that <br />an alternate course of action for provision of utilities should be <br />pursued prior to a decision; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Villa~e <br />of Roseville, Minnesota, that the Public Works Director be instructed <br />to study and report to the Council with all convenient speed on the <br />installation of the utilities along the shore of Lake OWasso rather <br />than between the improved homes along the shore of Lake Owasso and <br />South Owasso Boulevard. It is requested that the Council be advised <br />in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed alternate improvement <br />is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or <br />in connection with some other improvement and the estimated cost of <br />the improvement as recommended. <br />
