Regular City Council Meeting <br />Monday, November 19, 2007 <br />Page 17 <br />Councilmember Roe asked that staff reflect categories and time-frames as out- <br />lined by individual Councilmembers at tonight's meeting. <br />h. Consider an Appointment to the Public Works, Environment and Transpor- <br />tation Commission <br />Councilmember Ihlan advised staff that she had not received a DVD copy of the <br />March 2007 interviews; and expressed her interest in reviewing that tape prior to <br />decision-making, but not needing to re-interview applicants. <br />Staff was requested to include this item on a future agenda, following review of <br />the previous interviews on DVD. <br />Pust also indicated that she had not apparently received the DVD of the inter- <br />views. <br />i. Councilmember Pust Report on Roseville Seniors-at-Home Program Meeting <br />Councilmember Pust reported briefly. on her attendance at a meeting of the Rose- <br />ville Seniors-at-Home Program, the School District, and North Suburban Senior <br />Council. Councilmember Pust noted that the agency was meeting at -this same <br />time to determine the future of their program; at which time, that decision would <br />provide for further discussion on services provided, service gaps, and options for <br />repackaging those services in the community and surrounding communities. <br />Councilmember Pust advised that she would provide additional information as it <br />became available; assuring the Council and public that all parties were communi- <br />cating and attempting to make sure that seniors continued to receive vital services. <br />11. Councilmember-Initiated Items for Future Meetings <br />a. Councilmember Pust clarified with City Manager Malinen information previously <br />provided to staff. <br />b. Mayor Klausing and Councilmember Pust advised of an upcoming presentation <br />by the Roseville School District on changing school district and community <br />demographics and challenges with non-English speaking students. and relocated <br />refugees; and broader issues for consideration in the community. <br />12. Adjourn <br />Mayor Klausing wished all a Happy Thanksgiving; and adjourned the meeting at 9:05 <br />p.m. <br />
