Set 2008 City Council Meeting Dates City Manager Malinen had several revisions, following input and comment from Councilmembers, on the proposed 2008 City Council meeting schedule. Changes were made in proposed meeting dates for April, June and July. City Manager Malinen noted that Rosefest was scheduled for June 23, 2008; meetings were rescheduled from those preliminary dates of April 7, June 2 and July 7; and meeting dates were added for April 21, June 30, and July 28. Mayor Klausing noted that January 7, 2007 was scheduled, and would be mostly annual organiza- tional business. City Manager Malinen confirmed that the first Monday of each December was held for municipalities to hold their annual Truth-in-Taxation meeting, to allow all jurisdictions to schedule their respective hearings. Discussion was held regarding anticipated breaks for Mounds View School Dis- trict, as well as those taken into consideration for the Roseville Area School Dis- trict. Staff was requested to seek this information and follow-up with the City Council to determine if any other schedule revisions were required.
