501.19: KENNELS: <br />Except as provided in Section 501 06 no person shall maintain a kennel (more <br />than 2 dogs over 3 months of age), as defined in Chapter 1002 of this Code, <br />without first securing a license pursuant to Chapter 301 of this Code. This fee shall <br />be in addition to the license fee prescribed in preceding sections for each dog kept <br />in such a kennel. No person <br />shall beat, treat cruelly, torment or otherwise abuse any animal or cause or permit <br />any animal fight. No owner shall abandon any animal.
