The City Council has asked all commissions for feedback on the <br />preliminary visioning report. The PWETC went through the report and <br />discussed additions and changes they were proposing. <br /> <br /> On Page 3 Member Vanderwall wanted to change transit system to <br />transportation system. <br /> <br /> On Page 7 Member Vanderwall suggested a visibility standard be <br />established. <br /> <br /> Member Neprash suggested adding a goal of increasing the tree canopy. <br /> <br /> Member Vanderwall said we need to make sure our priorities are to <br />continually maintain our assets rather than just to fix things when they <br />break. <br /> <br /> Member Neprash wanted to add as a brainstorming item clarifying the <br />development review process with an eye toward environmental concerns. <br /> <br /> Member Neprash wanted to add doing an inventory of city properties with <br />an eye toward where additional storm water measures could be installed. <br /> <br /> Member Neprash wanted to add consistent lot sizes to the “maintain <br />architectural integrity” item. <br /> <br /> Member Neprash wanted public sidewalks to be connected to private <br />sidewalks to the front doors of businesses. <br /> <br /> Member Neprash wanted to add an item to explore the city initiating total <br />maximum daily load studies. <br /> <br /> Member Vanderwall wanted to make sure energy efficiency was stressed <br />throughout. <br /> <br /> Member Willenbring asked if a certain amount of money granted for <br />roadways has to go to trail systems. Ms. Bloom said it is usually separate <br />funding for pedestrian or bike trails. <br /> <br /> Member Neprash commented on wanting to keep arterial roads as city <br />friendly as possible and not lose all control to the county or state. <br /> <br /> Member Willenbring suggested changing transit zones to increase density <br />to improve public transportation. <br /> <br /> Member Vanderwall said he thought the park and ride service could be <br />better in Roseville. <br /> <br />Page 3 of 4 <br /> <br />
