WHEREAS, The Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />PetSmart request on December 5, 2007, recommending (7-0) approval of the AMENDED <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT, subject to conditions; and <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council on January 14, 2008 approved a Zoning Text <br />Amendment allowing pet boarding and/or dog day care as a conditional use in zones where pet <br />and pet supply store were permissible; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE TT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to APPROVE <br />the request by PetSmart (in cooperation with Rosedale Commons LP, property owner) for a <br />CONDITIONAL .USE PERMIT in accordance with Section 1013.01 of the Roseville City Code, <br />subject to the following conditions; <br />1. Pet boarding within PetHotel shall be limited to accommodations for 108 dog <br />kennels and 15 cat kennels within a 5,012 (+/-) sq. ft. fully enclosed indoor <br />facility. <br />2. There shall be no after-hours pick-up. Delivery of pets for boarding, dog day <br />care/camp and/or pet grooming (pet services) shall not occur before 7:00 a.m. <br />Hours of operation shall be limited to 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through <br />Saturday and 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday. Pet pick-up shall occur during <br />specifically designated daily hours of operation. <br />3. Dog Day Camp (daytime boarding) shall be limited to 70 dogs. <br />4. No outdoor pet exercising/activity shall be allowed. <br />5. The tenant space shall be constructed and/or improved in a manner that does not <br />cause nuisances outside of the premises and which meets the City's noise <br />ordinance. <br />6. Pet waste will be handled in compliance with applicable building and/or health <br />code requirements. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Roe and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: Pust, Roe , <br />Kough, Ihlan, and Mayor Klausing <br />and the following voted against: None <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />2 <br />
