<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF lHE <br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD DECEMBER 11, 1967 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting <br />of the Village Council of the Village of Rosevil1e, Minnesota, was <br />duly held at the Village Hall in said Village on Monday, Dec. 11, 1967, <br />at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Cedarholm, Councilmen <br />Curley, Goodrich and Grauel <br /> <br />and the following were absent: Councilman Shields <br /> <br />CotUlcilman Goodrich then introduced and moved the <br />adoption of the following resolution: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1980 <br /> <br />WHEREA..S, the Village CotUlci1 recogni zes the need for <br />posting "No Parking" on the following County Roads and state <br />their reason: <br /> <br />1. County Road "B" from lH 280 to Eustis Street <br />(both sides) because of the steep grade and narrow <br />roadway a hazard is created for motorists and snow <br />snow plows during winter months if cars are parked <br />along the roadway. <br /> <br />2. Lexington Avenue from Josephine Road to COtUlty Road <br />"C" (both sides) because of the proposed development <br />of a ski facility on the west side of Lexington Avenue <br />which will generate considerable traffic; and because <br />of the geometrics and grade of Lexington Avenue, are <br />such as to make driving hazardous and hinder snow <br />plowing operation if cars are parked along the roadway. <br /> <br />3. Dale Street from Skillman Avenue to County Road B <br />(east side) because past experience shows that because <br />of the heavy north botUld traffic visibility problems <br />due to the crest in the road, and steepness of the <br />grade , a hazard is created by parked cars along <br />Dale Street; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF <br />TI~ VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Requests that the Ramsey COtUlty Board authorize the <br />installation of "No Parking" Signs along the following County <br />Roads: <br />
