EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF lHE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD DECEMBER 11, 1967 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Rosevil1e, Minnesota, was duly held at the Village Hall in said Village on Monday, Dec. 11, 1967, at 7:30 P.M. The following members were present: Mayor Cedarholm, Councilmen Curley, Goodrich and Grauel and the following were absent: Councilman Shields CotUlcilman Goodrich then introduced and moved the adoption of the following resolution: RESOLUTION NO. 1980 WHEREA..S, the Village CotUlci1 recogni zes the need for posting "No Parking" on the following County Roads and state their reason: 1. County Road "B" from lH 280 to Eustis Street (both sides) because of the steep grade and narrow roadway a hazard is created for motorists and snow snow plows during winter months if cars are parked along the roadway. 2. Lexington Avenue from Josephine Road to COtUlty Road "C" (both sides) because of the proposed development of a ski facility on the west side of Lexington Avenue which will generate considerable traffic; and because of the geometrics and grade of Lexington Avenue, are such as to make driving hazardous and hinder snow plowing operation if cars are parked along the roadway. 3. Dale Street from Skillman Avenue to County Road B (east side) because past experience shows that because of the heavy north botUld traffic visibility problems due to the crest in the road, and steepness of the grade , a hazard is created by parked cars along Dale Street; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF TI~ VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE Requests that the Ramsey COtUlty Board authorize the installation of "No Parking" Signs along the following County Roads:
