Approve Minneapolis Training Contract for Fire Department <br />Ihlan moved, Klausing seconded, approval of a Facilities Lease Agreement be- <br />tween the City of Roseville Fire Department and the City of Minneapolis Fire <br />Department for the use of the North Campus Fire Training Facility; and authoriz- <br />ing the Mayor, Fire Chief, City Clerk and Finance Officer to execute the docu- <br />ment. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Kough; Pust; Ihlan; Roe; and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />j. Approve LELS, Police Officers Union, 2008 Contract <br />Councilmember Roe sought clarification from City Manager Malinen that the <br />City was attempting multi-year bargaining agreements, but was unable to do so in <br />this case. <br />City Manager Bi11 Malinen concurred; noting that future City Council discussions <br />would be held on multi-year bargaining agreement provisions and negotiations. <br />Ihlan moved, Klausing seconded, approved the proposed terms and conditions for <br />the 2008 collective bargaining agreement with the LELS for the term of one (1) <br />year from January 1, 2008 through December 31, 2008; and directed City staff to <br />
