Call Roll Mayor Klausing called to order the Roseville City Council regular meeting at approxi- mately 6:10 p.m. and welcomed everyone. Voting and Seating Order for March: Roe; Pust; Ihlan; Kough; Klausing. Mayor Klausing noted that Councilmember Kough was unable to attend tonight's meet- ing. City Attorney Jay Squires was also present. 2. Approve Agenda Councilmember Ihlan requested removal of Consent Item 7.g entitled, "Ratify Agree- ments for Karges-Faulconbridge, Incorporated for Professional Services at the Skating Center." The agenda was approved by consensus, as amended. 3. Public Comment Mayor Klausing called for public comment by members of the audience on any non- agenda items. No one appeared to speak. 4. Council Communications, Reports, Announcements, and Housing & Redevelop- ment Authority Report Mayor Klausing announced the welcome home ceremony and greeting at the National Guard Armory for the return of Guards after a one year deployment, with the public in- vited to attend. Mayor Klausing noted that additional information was available from National Guard Lt. Col Miller at 651/268-8085. Mayor Klausing noted that there was an appreciation event in process tonight to honor and recognize the many volunteers at the OVAL and Skating Center. Mayor Klausing reviewed some statistical information on the number volunteer hours and cost savings re- alized by the City through their generosity and efforts. Mayor Klausing apologized that the Councilmembers would be unable to attend the event; however, on behalf of the community, staff and the City Council, thanked the volunteers, as well as expressing ap- preciation to Olive Garden/Roseville, for the dinner for tonight's recognition event.
