EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the city Hall on Monday, the twenty-sixth day of April, 1993, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Maschka, Goedeke, P. Johnson, Cushman, and V. Johnson and the following were absent: None. Councilmember P. Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 8932 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS JOHN ROSE MEMORIAL OVAL MECHANICAL BUILDING, M-92-23 WHEREAS, pursuant to past action by the City Council the City's consulting engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, and Anderlik, has prepared plans and spE!cifications for the following improvement and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval: M-92-23 -- John Rose Memorial Oval ice system mechanical building THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota: 1. Such plans and specifications, copies of which are attached hereto, and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The City Manager shall prepare the cause to be inserted in the Roseville Review, the official newspaper, and in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement for bids for M·-92-23 shall be published as required by law, shall specify the work to be done, shall call the bids on the basis of cash payment for such work, shall state that the bids will be received by the City Manager and Public Works Director on May 21, 1993, at 10:00 a.m. at which time they will be publicly opened in the City Hall by the city Manager and subsequently be considered by the Council; and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Manager and accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check or bid bond payable to the Manager for ten percent of the amount of such bid. The mo"tion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly secondød by councilmember Cushman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Maschka, Goedeke, P. Johnson, Cushman, and V. Johnson and the following voted against: None. Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
