<br />EXTRACT OF MINlJI'ES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />OF ROSEVILLE, lvlINNESOTA, HELD DECEMBER 18, 1967 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular <br />meeting of the Village Cmmcil of the Village of Roseville, <br />Minnesota was duly called and held at the Village Hall in said <br />Village on December 18, 1967, at 7:30 P.M. The following <br />nembers were present: <br /> <br />~byor Cedarholm, Councilmen Curley, Shields, Grauel and <br />Goodrich <br /> <br />and the following nembers were absent: None <br /> <br />t>ember Curley introduced the following resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLlITION NO. 2005 <br /> <br />A RESOLUfION DETERMINING 10 ACQUIRE BY CrnIlThtJATION <br />UNDER THE POWER OF EMINENT DOMUN FEE SIMPLE TIlLE TO CERTAIN <br />LAND FOR THE PURPOSE OF THE FLOWAGE AND PONDING OF SlDRM WATER <br />IN THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, AND DIRECTING l11A.T 1HE NECESSARY <br />PROCEEDINGS BE IN$TITIJfED FOR SUCH PURPOSE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village Council for the Village of <br />Roseville deems it necessary and expedient and in the best <br />interests of the Village and its inhabitants that the following <br />described land be acquired for flo1.,rage and ponding purposes for <br />the Village of Roseville; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary and feasible to acquire by <br />fee simple for the purposes of flowage and ponding of stonn <br />water the property hereafter described as a necessary part of <br />stonn water Improvement 65-38 A. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the statutes of the State of Minnesota <br />state that the Village has the power and authority to take and <br />acquire said property by condennation tmder the power of <br />eminent domain; <br />
