EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, was held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, Apri121, 2008, at 6:00 o'clock p.m. <br />The following members were present: Ihlan, Roe, Pust and Klausing and the following were absent: none <br />Councilmember Klausing introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10615 <br />RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT FOR GRANT OPPORTUNITIES <br />FOR BICYCLE/PEDESTRIAN FACILITIES ALONG <br />FAIRVIEW AVENUE FROM COUNTY ROAD B2 TO ROSELAWN <br />WHEREAS, the Imagine Roseville 2025 visioning process identified sidewalks and trails as <br />important infrastructure to the community, and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville that: <br />The Roseville City Council adopts this resolution to apply for 2008 NTP Bicycle and Pedestrian <br />Facility Improvements along Fairview Avenue from County Road B2 to Roselawn, <br />And the Roseville City Council supports the joint application for these improvements with the <br />cities of Falcon Heights, Lauderdale and Minneapolis, and the University of Minnesota to <br />provide improved bicycle/pedestrian facility connectivity between the cities for its residents. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pust and upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: Ihlan, Roe, Pust and Klausing and the <br />following voted against the same: none <br />
