EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 16t1' day of June, 2008, at 6:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: Willmus, Pust, Roe, and Klausing <br />and Ihlan was absent. <br />Council Member Pust introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10637 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING VARIANCES TO §1103 (DESIGN STANDARDS) OF <br />THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR RICHARD COX AT 2045 LOREN ROAD <br />(PF08-019) <br />WHEREAS, Richard Cox is the owner of property at 2045 Loren Road; and <br />WHEREAS, the subject property is legally described as: <br />Loren Acres No. 1 Lot 3 & Lot 4 Block 1 <br />PIN: 16-29-23-23-0087 <br />WHEREAS, Section 1103.06F (Side Lot Lines) requires side property lines to be radial to <br />circular cul-de-sac turnarounds; and <br />WHEREAS, the property owner seeks to realign an existing lot line such that it would not <br />be radial to the adjacent turnaround; and <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding the <br />requested VARIANCE, concluded that "practical difficulties" are present, and voted 6-0 to <br />recommend approval of the request based on the comments, findings, and conditions of the staff <br />report dated June 4, 2008; and <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council concurs with the Planning Commission <br />conclusion pertaining to "practical difficulties" and has determined that approval of the requested <br />VARIANCE will not compromise the public health, safety, and general welfare of the citizens of <br />Roseville; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to APPROVE <br />the requested VARIANCE to Section 1103.06F of the City Code, subject to the following <br />condition: <br />Pursuant to § 1013.03 (Time Limitation) of the City Code, the variance shall <br />expire 6 months from the date of the approval if the minor subdivision has not <br />been process by the applicant for recording at Ramsey County as required in <br />Section 1104.04B (Recombination Minor Subdivisions) of the City Code. <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
