Pust moved, Willmus seconded, approval of the naming of the Roseville Central Park Amphitheatre as the "Frank Rog Amphitheatre;" in honor of his significant and exceptional contribution in establishing the Roseville Parks and Recreation System and to the community as a whole. Roll Call Ayes: Willmus; Ihlan; Pust; Roe and Klausing. Nays: None. Roe moved, Ihlan seconded, acceptance and recognition of the significant contri- bution of $25,000 to the Roseville Central Park Foundation to be used for facility improvements to the "Frank Rog Amphitheatre" in Roseville Central Park. Roll Call Ayes: Willmus; Ihlan; Pust; Roe and Klausing. Nays: None. Mayor Klausing recognized Frank and Janet Rog, and presented a plaque of ap- preciation to Mr. Rog. Mr. Rog provided comments and acknowledged those foundations, volunteers, staff, friends, civic organizations, and friends involved in naming this facility in his honor. Mr. Rog introduced his family members who were present in the audi- ence. Mrs. Rog thanked those instrumental in making this recognition happen. Mayor Klausing noted the many things, initiated by Mr. Rog that had touched his life growing up in Roseville; and thanked Mr. Rog for setting the tone with volun- teers and former staff, many of whom were present and still involved in the parks and recreation field in other communities or areas, and noted Mr. Rog's influence. Mr. Rog received a standing ovation from the City Council, staff and audience members.
