EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, the 25th day of August, 2008, at 6:30 p.m. The following members were present: Ihlan, Pust, Roe, Willmus and Klausing and the following were absent: none Councilmember Roe introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 10647 RESOLUTION AWARDING BIDS FOR 2008 SANITARY SEWER MAIN LINING WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the plans and specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said bids were received on Thursday, August 21, 2008, at 9:00 a.m., opened and tabulated according to law and the followine bids were received comnlvins with the advertisement: BIDDER AMOUNT Veit & Com an ,Inc. $186,120.00 Lametti & Sons, Inc. $212,355.00 WHEREAS, it appears that Veit & Company, Inc. of Rogers, Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated price of $186,120 and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota: 1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Veit & Company, Inc. for $186,120 in the name of the City of Roseville for the above improvements according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Manager. 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids except the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have been signed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota: The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Ihlan and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Ihlan, Pust, Roe, Willmus and Klausing and the following voted against the same: none
