EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 22nd day of September, 2008, at 6:00 p.m. The following members were present: Roe, lhlan, Willmus, Pust and Klausing and the following were absent: none. Member Willmus introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION No. 10657 Resolution Adopting Proposed Changes to the Roseville Fire Department Relief Association Bylaws. WHEREAS, Section 106.06 of the Roseville City Code authorizes the Roseville Fire Department to organize a Fire Relief Association for the purpose of providing retirement benefits to its members; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 61 of the Restated Bylaws of the Roseville Fire Relief Association, amendments to the bylaws must be ratified by the Roseville City Council; and WHEREAS, the Roseville Fire Relief Association membership approved an amendment to their bylaws restricting any person hired as a full-time fire department employee after October 1, 2006 from being a member of the Relief Association. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, that the following amendments to the Restated Bylaws of the Roseville Fire Relief Association be adopted and remain in effect until such time that a subsequent bylaw change is taken. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Klausing, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Roe, Ihlan, Willmus, Pust and Klausing and the following voted against the same: none. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
