Regular City Council Meeting <br />Monday, September 15, 2008 <br />Page 19 <br />Councilmember Roe further opined that, if the intent of City is to connect to the <br />park, it may mean a curb cut in the cul-de-sac and atwo-lane road that is the <br />City`s responsibility <br />Councilmember Ihlan questioned when the City had made a determination that <br />this road needed to connect the park. <br />Councilmember Roe noted that the City had done so in June of 2007 when the <br />City Council, on a 3/2 vote, had originally held discussion on a public roadway <br />and the need for access to the park. <br />Mayor Klausing spoke in opposition to the motion, concumng with Councilmem- <br />ber Roe; and supporting the connection for the public purpose of access to the <br />park. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Pust. <br />Nays: Roe; Willmus; and Klausing. <br />Abstentions: Ihlan. <br />Motion failed. <br />Klausing moved, Roe seconded, approval of the FINAL FLAT (Applewood Pointe of <br />Langton Lake) by United Properties for redevelopment of 3010 Cleveland Avenue N <br />with a 95-unit age-restricted cooperative housing development; creating two (2) lots for a <br />senior cooperative, and including no outlots, .for future development, and public road <br />right-of--way dedication for Langton Lake Drive, including all necessary public ease- <br />ments, subject to the conditions detailed in Section 8 of the project report dated Septem- <br />ber 15, 2008; <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Roe; Willmus; and Klausing. <br />Nays: Pust and Ihlan. <br />Motion carried. <br />Roe moved, Klausing seconded, enactment of Ordinance No. 1375 entitled, "An <br />Ordinance Amending Title 10 of the Roseville City Code, Changing the Zoning <br />Map Designation of Certain Real Property within the Twin Lakes Redevelopment <br />Area from Single-Family Residence District (R-1) to Planned Unit Development <br />(PUD) with an Underlying Zoning of General Residence District (R-3)." <br />Councilmember Roe opined that this action didn't designate building height; but <br />that such provisions would be achieved through the PUD Agreement. <br />
