EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 20th day of October, 2008, at 6:00 p.m. The following members were present: Willmus, Roe, Ihlan, Pust, and Klausing and the following were absent: none. Member Pust introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION No. 10662 City of Roseville Support and Endorsement of the Northwest Youth and Family Services Campaign to create the Discovery Center WHEREAS, the Northwest Youth & Family Services mission is to prepare youth and families for healthy lives; and WHEREAS, the City of Roseville greatly values the contributions Northwest Youth & Family Services has provided for Roseville residents for over 30 years; and WHEREAS, Northwest Youth & Family Services of Minnesota is constructing the Discovery Center to provide hands-on, experiential learning and physical activity; and WHEREAS, Northwest Youth & Family Services will utilize the Discovery Center to better meet the needs of its clients; and WHEREAS, the Discovery Center will be a community resource for youth sports, meetings, festivals, and family celebrations; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Roseville supports and endorses the Northwest Youth and Family Services Campaign to create the Discovery Center. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Ihlan, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Willmus, Roe, Ihlan, Pust, and Klausing and the following voted against the same: none. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
